      We chose not to add Glycerin! Glycerin is often used to
      sweeten foods and keep them moist longer. Glycerin may
      cause your dog to develop digestive issues and may
      also interfere with nutrient absorption.

      We chose not to add Salt! Salt is often used to add flavor
      in food. As with humans, a high sodium intake is unhealthy for
      your dog. High levels of sodium can cause kidney and heart
      disease as well as hypertension in your pet.

      We chose not to add Sorbitol! Sorbitol is a plant-based
      sugar alcohol that is used as a sweetener in many products,
      including sugar-free foods, laxatives, cosmetics and other
      medications. It is added to keep the product moist and also work
      as a filler. Increased levels of Sorbitol can promote hypoglycemia,
      obesity, nervousness, cataracts, tooth decay, arthritis, allergies,
      and diarrhea.
